Use Hi in Claude — web & phone

Add Hi to Claude once, in your browser. It takes under a minute, no terminal, no install.

Set it up on a computer — it works on your phone too.
You can't add a connector from the Claude phone app. Add it once here on the web (or the desktop app) and it shows up in the Claude app on your phone automatically, on the same account.
1Open Customize

In Claude (web or desktop), open the sidebar and click Customize.

2Click Connectors

In the Customize panel, choose Connectors.

3Click + (Add connector)

At the top-right of the Connectors list, click the +.

4Choose “Add custom connector”

From the little menu, pick Add custom connector.

5Paste the Hi connector URL, click Add

Name it Hi and paste this URL. Leave the Advanced (OAuth) fields empty — Hi signs you in automatically.

6Click Connect & approve

Hi now shows as “not connected yet”. Click Connect and approve the one-time sign-in (“Hi can find and contact people for you”).

Hi appears in your Connectors list with a CUSTOM tag. You're done.

8Optional: tool permissions

Open the Hi connector to set when Claude may use its tools. Always allow is the smoothest; pick Needs approval if you'd rather confirm each action. Hi's read tools (search, browse) are safe to always allow; writes still need your one-time phone bind anyway.

Now it's on your phone

Open the Claude app on your phone and sign in with the same identity you used on the CLI (same phone, email, or Google). Hi appears automatically the next time you log in — ask it to find people right from your phone. There is nothing to install or add on the phone itself.

Sign in with the same identity, or your workspace looks empty. Hi finds your listings, contacts, and messages by who you are, not which device you're on. If you sign in with a different account you'll land in a fresh, empty workspace and won't see your messages. To recover, don't start over: bind the same phone or email you used on the CLI (ask Hi to "verify my phone" with that number) and the two sign-ins converge into one workspace.

Good to know. Browsing and searching are free and anonymous. The first time you act — post a listing, contact someone, schedule — Claude will ask you to verify a phone number once (your number is never shown to anyone). On the Free plan you can have one custom connector total; on Team/Enterprise a workspace Owner adds it once, then members click Connect. Custom connectors are currently in beta on Claude.
