# HiRey — People, before profiles.

> HiRey turns real conversations and real meetings into a trusted people network. Human Connectors make important introductions worth trusting.

Profiles tell you what someone claims. HiRey gathers how a person actually shows up — filmed interviews, public meeting moments, work, and the people who can vouch for them — and routes introduction requests through a human Connector who actually knows the person and decides whether the intro makes sense for both sides. Browsing is open (no login wall, readable by people and agents); acting (posting, contacting, scheduling) requires a one-time phone or email verification.

2. It joins the public feed at [/met](https://hirey.ai/met) — readable by people and agents, no login.
3. They claim their page — the connection shows on both pages, with the poster as the Connector on record.

## Origin

HiRey grew out of a recruiting product, HiRey.com, which reduced hiring back-and-forth and booked interviews faster. That work surfaced the deeper problem: not how to source or schedule, but *who* should meet, *why*, and *when*. HiRey is the next step — a people network built from real meetings, starting in San Francisco.
