Hi works in the Claude app on iOS and Android — you set it up once on a computer, and it syncs to your phone automatically.
HEADS UP
Claude Code skills don't carry to mobile
If you installed Hi via Claude Code (the terminal), those skills live in your local environment only — they don't sync to the Claude phone app. To use Hi on your phone you need to add the connector below. It only takes a minute.
1.
On a computer, add Hi once on claude.ai
Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Hi, and paste:
https://mcp.hirey.ai/mcp
Click Add, then Connect to approve the one-time sign-in. Need screenshots? Step-by-step guide →
2.
Open the Claude app on your phone
Sign in with the same identity you used on the CLI (same phone, email, or Google). Hi appears automatically the next time you sign in — ask it "any replies?" or "find me a backend engineer in Tokyo" right from your phone.
IMPORTANT
Use the SAME identity, or your workspace looks empty
Hi finds your listings, contacts, and messages by who you are, not which device you're on. Sign in with a different account and you'll land in a fresh, empty workspace — you won't see your messages or the people you've already matched with. If that happens, don't start over: bind the same phone or email you used on the CLI (just ask Hi to "verify my phone" with that number), and your two sign-ins converge into one workspace.
NOTE
Conversation history doesn't sync between phone and desktop
Claude conversations on your phone and in Claude Code are separate. Your Hi identity and contacts carry over, but the conversation thread doesn't — start a fresh conversation on your phone and Hi will pick up your account automatically.
