But yeah, so thanks for taking the time to join the call and hop into our, hop into this video meeting and everything like that. Did you have time to look at the Hire.ai website yet? I have, yeah, I need to go through it to download the plugin. You've already got the plugin downloaded? Mm-hmm. I tried it already. Awesome. So what'd you think? First thoughts, first impressions? I think it made a really big, so being somebody who applies for jobs on Upwork, I think it made a really big, like impression on me, given the fact that when I used it, I just basically typed what candidates I'm looking for, and it gave me a list of names that fully fit those descriptions. Now, it didn't give me like, so with HiRey, it lists, it sends you to a profile, right, with the list of experiences that they have or stack that they have experiences with. Will it go into like completed projects or anything like that? Like projects that the candidate or the person has done? Yeah, because when I used it, it gave me like a list of names and all where their stack, but it didn't give me like specific projects that they have done, just like the list of stack, so I was just wondering about that. Yeah, you could, so you could, you could post something like that, like on your profile. So it's kind of broken down into profiles and lists, and then for your, yeah, I think that would be more of a profile thing. So because your listing would be, like, I'm looking for somebody that fits this profile, somebody that has AI experience, somebody that has experience in accounting or something like this, this would be more for that. So. Gotcha. Yeah. Yeah, and when I asked the agent to dive deeper and it did go into like the links that they have in their profiles, and then from there it found like the project experience from their like personal websites. That's why I just thought that would be cool. Like, find me somebody who's like deployed, you know, AI voice agent for this company, and then it will just like take me to that specific person who's already done that. That would be, yeah, that'd be so cool. Oh, that's cool. So you had it, you had it search their, their associated websites to find out what projects they did. Yeah, yeah, that was linked from the HiRey. Oh, HiRey asked you to, if you wanted to do that. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that's cool. But you had, you had been, you were talking with it a little bit and then it prompted you to do that. Is that right? Mm-hmm. Yeah, and then when I looked at the, their HiRey profile, it, the HiRey went into their profile links in their HiRey. So like some users have like websites linked and then from there it showed like their projects and stuff. Oh, interesting. So they had, yeah, some users would link their websites, but not everybody. And then if it does. Huh. That's really cool. So we're, we're updating the software very, very frequently. So I mean, even like the, the iMessage feature and everything like that, that's new. We have a lot of, a lot of changes that are happening really rapidly. So. That's cool. Yeah. Did you have a chance to try out that iMessage feature? Did you set that up or not quite? I did not, but I think I needed like a phone number and something else to set it up, but I haven't had a chance to. Yeah, or you could use Google to, to do that too. Yeah. What else did you think about, what else, so we got, you got the setup process and kind of for the, for the purposes of this interview, let's just, let's just do a quick introduction. So I'm, I'm Mark. I've worked, I've worked at HiRey for three years. This AI agent product is really...
It's really new for us, really. We've launched it about three months ago. We're adding a lot of features. It's getting, it's really interesting to kind of hear what people are thinking about the concept of like using AI agents. Like this year has kind of been like the year of the AI agent and using that kind of to network as well as like an interesting concept. And that's kind of what we're trying to do with this product, but it's definitely, it's a new kind of business line for us. We used to be focused in recruitment. Now we're kind of with the AI revolution, we're kind of leaning into that. So why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself and like next what? Go ahead. Yeah. Yeah. My name is Alros Oblan. I am an AI enthusiast, we call that my, it's more of a side gig for me where I, you know, I'm getting gigs on Upwork and learning about AI and stuff like that. And yeah, I've had a couple of gigs, mostly into like chatbots, AI chatbots, so I've experienced, but very familiar with like N8N workflows and other AI platforms. So yeah, that's me. And just to backtrack on what you were saying, you, the goal for this is to more primarily for networking or is it more like job or looking for staff who can do work with their profiles? More primarily for more primarily for networking, but you could also use it to, to like find staff and use it as like kind of a recruitment purpose as well. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, or, you know, if you're looking for a particular type of individual to join your team or for startups, I think it's kind of like really based in the startup world, so yeah. Nice. And does, where do you guys fit and do you guys fill the need for, there's a missing piece in that niche, that niche, uh, like a void for this? Yeah. Yeah, I think so. I think it's kind of like, it's like predictive, like it's kind of like now that people are using AI agents for like all types of things, um, it kind of makes sense that they might use it for, for networking. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah. I think I'll have to try out that message feature, really get into it. Yeah, the iMessage feature is really cool because then, I mean, you don't, you, if you, you have some advantages if you install it to your, to your AI agent, but like with the messaging feature, you know, you can kind of take it on the go and still have access to the, to the network and everything like that. So that part's interesting. Um, why don't you tell me a little bit about what type of, what type of AI projects or activities, what have you been using AI to do lately? Um, aside from like the work, you know, like if I get stuck, you know, I've been using AI to help out with like troubleshooting and stuff like that. Yeah, it's been, you know, very helpful with that. I've used AI to build my website, um, to like digest books and then I could just ask it directly and have it reference the books to the parts that I need to reference. Oh, that's cool. So, yeah, it makes it super easy. What kind of books? I read it a lot. So like business books. Oh, okay. Like, I don't know if you're like, I probably haven't heard of it, but like $100 million offers or leads. Oh yeah, yeah. That Alex and Rosie book, right? Yeah, so it's just like a lot there, just like, uh, have the AI digest the books and then when I have a question, it'll just like give me like a reference all three books. Yes. Very quick. Um, what else? Oh, automating like uh my Upwork applications, which is nice. So like when I'm applying on Upwork, I have a booklet, bookmark booklet that takes the information from the page, sends it to N8N to create an N8N demo workflow and then I could and then it gives me a script in my database that I could just read off and then just uh apply to Upwork jobs fairly quickly with like
A pretty good demo, but I hope like the automation would work. So you have it set to like a skill, kind of like a skill trained off of like some other book. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, that's cool. And then other than that, I have it doing connects on LinkedIn, like automatically, instead of me manually doing it. So that one's another skill as well. So what do you do with that when it makes those connects? Just to build like a connection with people, essentially my plan is to post on LinkedIn and then the people connected with me will see these posts and then it's like, oh, we've been looking for an AI guy. It's like they're finding me, but really not. That makes the connection and then when you make like an AI post, then maybe your post will get a little bit more traction because of that, is that right? Yeah, exactly. Well, that's cool. Huh. You really got a mind for that. You're kind of like, I haven't, I've been doing some of these, a good amount of these interviews and it's like interesting how people are using it, but that's kind of like a really unique way of applying it, I think. It wasn't my idea. It was one of the guys I saw on YouTube and I thought it was very creative. Yeah. So then I think this concept, it sounds like this concept of like AI and how it fits into like social networking is like really, it's like right up your alley, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. That's cool. And then go ahead. I'm sorry, I just wanted to ask, what about other interviews, interviews have been thinking about the product hiring? Overall, the feedback is really positive. I think you have people, like we, I had one interviewee the other day, he's using it to like help automate certain processes for SMBs, like do chatbots for them. And another one that's using it for using it to, what are they using it for? Just like in their day-to-day kind of networking. They work in networking again IT. But yeah, overall, like people that use AI agents are like really interested in this kind of concept. So it's yeah, I think like, so adding that, that messaging portal for us, like getting it out of just your AI agent and more into like an interface on our website. That's like really popular because like a lot of people are like, well, maybe, you know, I think like the, the having it in your, your AI agent coding interface, you know, your cloud code is a good auxiliary. But then for a lot of people, maybe they don't have that set up or something like this. So they'd rather use it more as the, in another way. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry, I cut you off earlier. What were you gonna say? No, you're good. That was, that was about it. That was kind of what I was, what I was focused on. What else? So if there was something, if there was something about the product you think would be useful, so I think like what you mentioned, I think you were hinting at something earlier. So like being able to see projects that like people have completed. Why, let's dig into that. Why do you think that would be that would be useful just to see if that person fits your profile or how's that? Yeah. So initially I thought HireRay was like a site where people could like, oh, connect with others, like, hey, I need help with this. You know, can you help me out? You know, I'll pay you. Something like that. So when I was loading up Codex, that's what I was looking for. Like, hey, find me like, what did I type? Find me a good front-end dev candidate on HireRay. And that's when it like loaded up like four different names, Yasin, Mansoor, Accent. And then from there, it listed, well, yeah, it listed like all their like their tech stack basically, right? Mern full stack developer, senior full stack developer. But then I kind of thought, it was all kind of similar. How would I choose, like, who's done what I'm looking for before?
So yeah, that's when I kind of thought like, it would be great if like it dove into like their history or projects. I got you. And then what, what would you, what type of front-end project are you working on or what type of front-end project did you have in mind when you were thinking about that? Oh, Like uh AI voice agent specialists, you know, like if I needed help with that. Or any, any, any AI really. Yeah, just the main point is that like, it'll like really lock it down if like it dove into like their history or projects or any history or anything like that, which it did with the links on their um high rate profile. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I think finding a way to, so make finding a way to like make projects more prominent on our, on our, on our, on our user pages. I think that's a good, I think that's a good addition to the profile. Um, and then you didn't have time to try, to try out that iMessage feature, um, but that sounds interesting. What, what else do you think like would make this interesting? We also have like that, like if you're, if you're in San Francisco or for people that are focused in San Francisco, like working at companies that are like raising money or in certain verticals within tech, this is like really interesting to people. Um, so yeah, we're trying to like find like auxiliary features or products or something like that to add to the uh to the platform. Do you have any thoughts on like what would like make a good addition or something you'd like to? Yeah, I think like uh since it's more like a networking community-based uh direction that you guys are heading for, like, I don't actually know if you guys have this yet. Let me check. You guys have like, I see you're like uh the connection network on the site. I think that's cool. Oh, you do have the map. Yeah, okay, so the map. Yeah, it's there. I was gonna say just like a map. Yeah, you see it. Yeah, that would be cool. You can see where everybody's at and just connect them, like, hey. Nice. Yeah, that's really cool. Yeah, so like companies or people on the map. Yeah, get like a more of a visual interface. Yeah. What else? That's, that's really cool. Sorry, I'm just seeing this for the first time right now. On the map. Yeah. Is there one in Chicago? What's this city? But yeah, yeah, the map, the map is really cool. That's what I would have suggested next. What other features do you guys have in mind that are uh gonna be rolling out? Something more related to, I'm working on a pet project too, um something related to like engineers. So if there's like, if there's like uh an engineer that's interested in a certain profile or, or somebody that's like wants to post like their engineer profile, um making an offshoot of that map interface that's like more tailored towards, towards builders, towards like people that are technical builders. Um, So that's one thing. Even an AI voice interface is another thing. So uh last year we did an AI voice um tool where like you could call in and talk to our AI agent, and then it would, um, it would like ask you for the key pieces of information, make your profile for you and everything like that. So it's like if you wanted to have a conversation, you could just talk to it. Oh, nice. It's like easy onboarding. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. That's cool. I like that. Yeah. Yep. So yeah, those are, those are a couple um That I have in mind. What else? Um, yeah, we have that platform for it too. So, um. Which platform? The, The platform.
for uh like posting different apps and everything like that, like crowd community sourcing or crowdsourcing. So if somebody had like a project that they wanted to post, like share, um kind of like GitHub, like kind of our own, I guess our own like kind of version of uh of GitHub. Um, so that's kind of cool if you wanted to like get some work. Is that on the site currently or is that coming up? Yeah, that's hub.hiry.ai. So I think that should be one of the tabs up at the top there. But if you go to hub.hiry.ai, you can see some of those projects already. Nice. Yeah. Cool. I moments. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So do you, do you think, um, so you'd use this to like find other engineers? Do you think you'd like use it for any other types of like connection or do you think, do you, you, for you, I think maybe it'd be a good like business resource or like. Yeah, yeah, exactly. It's like, um. They're like, I've tried like meetup for like other people who are dive into AI, but there hasn't been any groups in Chicago, but this would be like nice and tailored. I feel like this would make it easy to connect with other like like-minded people, you know, if they fit that profile, right, and search for it. Yeah, like tech. Yeah, that'd be cool. Yeah. Cool. Yeah, man. And what other questions do you have? Uh, no, I think that's, I think that's, that's it. I think we talked about, we talked about the product, talked about your experience. I think you think it would be a, it's a cool idea. You'd use it for professional networking, uh, and you like the idea of like having a better interface for like projects um on, on our, on our profile page. So yeah, I think that's all good feedback for us. And yeah, if there's any uh if you think of anything else or if you want to like talk more about the product or anything, anything like that, um, we're connected now, so I can, uh, you know, keep chatting about it. And if there's any Chicago-based developments or anything like that, I can ping you. And uh yeah. Yeah, that'll be cool. Yeah, man. Really exciting. Yeah. All right, well, cool, man. Well, thanks for your time today. Thanks for talking a little bit about the product. Thanks for uh talking about yourself, what you're doing with AI. And uh yeah, I'll uh. Yeah, thank you. Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity. If you need more in the future, feel free to let me know. No problem, man. All right. Take care now. Have a good day. See you later. You too. Bye. Bye.
