A 13-Year-Old OPC Founder
Lawrence is a 13-year-old middle school student building a product that provides AI employees for OPCs (one-person companies / independent entrepreneurs). His pitch: general AI tools are still too hard for OPCs to use effectively, so his product turns a founder's raw idea into a structured feasibility report.
How the Product Works
Users first fill out a questionnaire to put their idea on paper. Then an AI agent researches hundreds of web pages to gather real user feedback, pain points, and competitor information. Finally, the system runs an AI agent debate on that research to produce a business feasibility analysis.
Built in Four Days
Lawrence says the whole product took four days to build, even though his ideas kept changing along the way. He contrasts this with the old startup cycle, which he says used to take three months and multiple funding rounds just to lock down an idea before building anything.
From Failed AI Videos to a Startup Idea
Before this project, Lawrence tried AI video content under an account making short AI-generated panda videos, but the process of tuning prompts and keeping character consistency was exhausting, and the account only reached about 20 followers, mostly family, so he gave up around 2024. Attending a co-creation festival (共创节) exposed him to many products from other founders and made him think he could build something too.
Ordinary Background, Big Ambition
He describes his family background as pretty ordinary: his mother often watches tech videos, and his older brother's experience studying abroad also influenced him. His grades are average, not top-tier, but he says his dream is to contribute to the Chinese dream.
