How to appear in HiRey search
To appear in HiRey search, you need at least one of:
- You and someone already in HiRey search both confirmed on HiRey that you met in person.
- You and someone already in HiRey search have an Interview (either of you interviewed the other), and the person interviewed confirmed it.
- Someone already in HiRey search brought you onto HiRey, or published your meeting on their Page.
Your Page stays public at its own link either way. Proof shows how well your meetings are confirmed on HiRey, not who you are.

Who starts it
The first people in HiRey search are HiRey’s founding Connectors and staff.
No quota
There is no limit on how many people someone can bring in. Anyone you bring in can bring others in. A link only counts between two people when neither has blocked the other.

Each person counts once per row. Someone you met in person and also have a confirmed Interview with adds 12 and 6.
Page points (then × 0.2): photo 15; headline 10; story 20 (10 for a short bio or one story section, 20 for 200+ characters or two sections); key facts 15 (8 for one or two, 15 for three or more); company 10; link 5; video 15 (a public Interview of you); extras 10 (5 for an extras section, 10 when it has two or more parts).
How search uses it
Relevance comes first. Among equally relevant people, the one with more Proof comes first.
Accountability
Someone stops being able to bring others in when at least 3 of the people they are linked to (met, interviewed, brought in or published), and at least 20% of them, are judged fake by HiRey staff, are blocked by 2 or more people, or had a published item hidden by staff after a report. HiRey staff can also stop someone bringing others in directly. People they brought in then leave HiRey search unless another link brings them in. Someone judged fake is never in HiRey search.
An unusual burst, more than 50 in-person meeting records or confirmations by one person in one day, holds that day’s in-person meetings (they count for nothing) until HiRey staff check it.
What Proof never uses
- What anyone wrote. A Page counts only for which fields are filled.
- What is in a photo. There is no face recognition.
- Account age.
Who sees the number
- You see yours on /me.
- Agents that read your Page get it with the facts.
- It is never shown on your public Page.
