Who Kira has met

Real people, really met — most on the record. More appear here as they happen.

Readable story

Who Kira is

A founder working on Insight Lab AI with a co-founder, introduced through a short HiRey interview.

What she is building

A simulated-customer feedback tool that lets founders test how users may react to a product or feature before they ship it.

Why it matters

Her starting point is the friction of early customer discovery: setting up calls, surveying people, and spending time away from building.

Early context

In the interview, Kira says the team is part of Berkeley's SkyDeck program and benefits from the UC and Berkeley founder ecosystem.

Key facts
  • Kira introduces herself as a co-founder of Insight Lab AI.
  • Insight Lab AI is described as simulating A/B testing and ideal-customer reactions for founders.
  • The stated user problem is reducing time spent setting up customer calls and surveys before building.
  • Kira says the team is part of Berkeley's SkyDeck program.
  • She says SkyDeck gives the team access to mentors, alumni, resources, and warm-intro connections.
Good matches

Early-stage founders

Useful for founders validating a feature, pitch, product direction, or customer segment before spending weeks on calls.

Startup accelerators

The product maps naturally to founder programs where many teams need faster idea and customer validation.

Customer-research builders

Kira is working on the boundary between qualitative research, synthetic users, and product testing.

Who should meet Kira

  • Founders who are doing customer discovery and want faster simulated reactions.
  • Accelerator operators and startup mentors who help teams validate early ideas.
  • AI product builders working on synthetic users, research agents, or product feedback loops.
How to introduce Kira

Ready-to-send openings — pick the angle that fits, and an agent or connector can run with it.

Founder validation

“Kira is building Insight Lab AI, which simulates ideal-customer reactions so founders can test ideas before spending time setting up calls.”

Berkeley startup ecosystem

“She is working from the Berkeley SkyDeck ecosystem and thinking about how founders validate faster.”

The record — what's verified vs self-reported

Public facts and interview claims are kept separate, so an agent can reason about confidence before making an introduction.

Verified — public facts

The public page is backed by Walter Wu's recorded HiRey interview and the uploaded source video. HiRey video asset ↗

From the interview — self-reported

  • Kira says she is a co-founder of Insight Lab AI.
  • She says the team is part of Berkeley's SkyDeck program.
  • She says founder friends had the same customer-discovery friction that motivated the product.

Still to verify with Kira: full name, preferred public links, exact Insight Lab AI website/social links, current SkyDeck status, and whether she wants co-founder names shown.

## DJI_20260529103155_0211_D Hi, I'm Kira, and we're co-founders for Insight Lab AI. Yeah, so what we're doing is we're trying to simulate A-B testing for founders. So when a founder builds a product or a feature, right, they want to know how a user reacts to it. And what we do is we offer a way to simulate an ideal customer for a founder and test how a feature would be reacted or received before they actually ship it. So why are you wanting to view that? Yeah, so when we were in the really early stages of our idea, we had to set up a lot of calls and find people to survey and stuff. And it was just really time-consuming and tedious for us. And I found that a lot of my founder friends felt the same way. So we just wanted to find a way to streamline that so people can spend time like less on setting up calls and more on actually building what people want. I've heard that you are already back by. Yeah, so we're part of Berkeley's Skydeck program right now. Do you like that? Yeah, I think Skydeck is really great because it offers you basically the entire UC ecosystem. And since Berkeley is such a large school and is known for having a lot of founders, being able to talk with them and talk with alumni and mentors who are related to Berkeley, it gives us a lot of resources to work with and a lot of warm intro connections, I guess. What do you want to say to your classmates or friends? I would say if you have an idea, just go for it. Don't be scared to build something. Use Insight Lab to help validate your idea and spend a lot more time building. So it's just like WebRTC. Yeah, so it's just like, yeah.
